We Exported Helicopter G-MHCI to an Australian customer. G-MHCI is an Enstrom 280C Shark. To containerise the helicopter, we replace the skids with a steel framework that lowers it to allow it to fit through the door of the container. We have just under 2 inches clearance whilst loading. The helicopter is then bolted to the floor of the container and the blades strapped to the floor. The skids are strapped in and off it goes.
