1990 Robinson R22 Beta OY-HFE (SOLD)

Description

This R22 Beta has done 1996 hours since new. It had a 12 year calendar rebuild in 2002, so has 4 years or 210 hours to go to the first 2200 hour rebuild. The engine was replaced four years ago and has a massive 2000 hours remaining. The main rotor blades were also replaced at the same time with the "-4" type blades and they have 2000 hours remaining. The tail rotor blades have been replaced in 2010 and so they are almost brand new. All this means the first 2200 rebuild in 2014 cost considerably less than other models that require the engine and blades. The machine is IFR equipped and has: Artificial Horizon Direction Indicator VOR with Localisor VSI Garmin GPS 150 Mode C Transponder King KX150 Nav/Com. It also has a 406 Mhz ELT. In addition it has the fuel priming option installed which makes for easier starting especially in cold weather. The helicopter has an EASA ARC valid until late October 2011 and is in check and ready for the new owner to fly. Reason for selling, my wife has only flown a Raven II before and so is spoilt for the four seater, plus we can then take our dogs with us (In a cage). Would part exchange for a Raven I
