1991 Robinson R22 Beta
(No Longer Available)

Description

Excellent candidate for private use.

In 2008, when 1441 was overhauled at Sloane and got the resprayed in dark blue, the MR Blades still had 1800hrs remaining. So Sloane took the decision, to keep the main rotor blades and only change the other parts at overhaul.
At the same time the engine only had 300h TSOH (Overhauled in 2004).. So there was no overhaul needed at the time of overhaul in 2008.
That means the blades are more or less the first components which are running out of hours in around 800hrs in 2017.
Now the most funny thing comes up....Maybe you know that the UK CAA approved that the engine (when they are operated under CAP 767 in the LAMP) could have a extension of 20% on hours and/or calendar life. That means 1441 has got TSOH of the engine 2340hrs....you think 2200 is the max?...You are wrong! In accordance to the CAP 767, there "under Extension GR24, Appendix 01 it is allowed to extend the engine up to at max 2620h. If you are private, you can even extend the engine plus 12y and fly the heli up to the first Components are running out in 2017.

As well some major parts, like the Swashplate etc was replaced about 100hrs ago. It was always maintained/operated by the biggest Robinson Dealer in the UK!
